What Are Jello Shots?
These jiggly, tasty treats – sometimes called ‘jelly shots’ – are simply jelly spiked with alcohol. They are super fun and so easy to make.
They can be created a few days in advance if needed. This recipe uses hard cider for an alcoholic kick.
Hard Apple Ciders
Cider is one of our favorite fall ingredients. I would use a local cider company if possible. However, if not, here are some great hard cider options.
- Square Mile Hopped AppleCider
- Angry Orchard Green AppleCider
- Strongbow’s GoldHardAppleCider
- Samuel Smith’s OrganicCider
- Famille Dupont OrganicCider
A Perfect Halloween Party Jello Shot
With it’s warm apple cider flavor and silky condensed milk, this is a great treat for Fall events, such as Halloween parties. And their Autumnal colors really set the scene!
Top Tips For Hard Apple Cider Jello Shots
- You can batch-make these in advance and store them in the fridge for up to 10 days. But the shots will deteriorate over time, and they’re at their best within 2 days of making.
- You can even make soft cider and kid-friendly jello shots. Just don’t get them mixed up!
- Remember to drink responsibly 😉
