Why is Spindrift so expensive? ›

Because it's made with real fruit, Spindrift is definitely pricier than LaCroix and most other flavored seltzers on the market.

While there are no specific recommendations on how much seltzer water is advisable to drink each day, listen to your body and use that as your guide. If you have GI issues or dental health concerns, limit your intake and consult your dietitian, healthcare practitioner or dentist for advice.

It's not that there is no nutritional difference between Spindrift and erstwhile seltzer starlet LaCroix, or Bubly, or Adirondack, or Polar, or Canada Dry, or whatever zero-calorie, no-sugar, “natural flavored”-flavored brand you prefer; it's just that there's no nutritional difference that matters.

Sparkling water made with natural flavors or real fruit juice (like Spindrift) can stand in as a great soda alternative. Pure fruit juice contains almost as much sugar as soda per cup, but these options bottle up plenty of fruity flavor with little to no sugar.

Spindrift. Flavor-wise and chemical-wise, Spindrift gets some of the highest marks, with 0.19 ppt PFAS, or parts per trillion ("safe" PFAS levels are seen as being below 1 ppt).

True to their marketing, many of the new products on the market do not contain any added artificial or natural sweeteners, including Hint, Bubly, La Croix, Spindrift, Dasani Sparkling and Perrier, but the resulting products are not very sweet.

The healthiest type of sparkling water is unflavored and unsweetened. But some sweetened sparkling waters and seltzers can add unwanted sugar to your diet. Sparkling waters that are high in sugar can cause tooth decay. But plain sparkling water has minimal effects on your teeth, especially compared to drinking soda.

All Spindrift beverages are individually stamped with a best by date. To find the best-by date, check the bottom of the can or look on the outside packaging of any the eight, and variety packs. We recommend enjoying your Spindrift before that date for the best experience.

Zero and low carb sparkling waters: If you're trying to cut back on your soda intake, there are plenty of sparkling water options that make a great substitute. Check out brands like Sound, Spindrift, and Waterloo. Unsweetened coffee and tea: Sweetened coffee and tea drinks can take a toll on your blood sugar.

Spindrift was the first sparkling water to be made with real fruit juice. Not only does Spindrift separate itself from competition by using real fruit juice in its beverages, but it was the first sparkling water brand to do so.

With all that to consider, we recently made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Cucumber, Strawberry, Cranberry Raspberry, and Blackberry. They're headed to the flavor vault alongside Watermelon and our original Spindrift Soda line. We understand that this is disappointing.

The two new Spindrift flavors—Island Punch and Grapeade—are freaking delicious. If you like guava or passion fruit, you should pick up the former. And if you're a fan of grape soda, you could definitely give the latter a try. We don't think you'll be disappointed!

It discontinued the popular Cucumber, Strawberry, Cranberry Raspberry, and Blackberry flavors in April 2022, citing decreased output from harsher growing conditions caused by climate change, among other factors. The brand also vetoes flavors its customers just don't like.

So, we've taken the process that we used to develop Spindrift Sparkling Water: all real ingredients, cold processing, no synthetics, delicious - and introduced a low level of alcohol made from fermented cane sugar at a social 4% ABV.
