The origin of the Napoleon cake is obscured; Some claim that the origin of this cake comes from Hungary, some Russia, some France.Originally named "mille-feuille",the Napoleon cakewas supposedly brought to Russia by the French in the early 19th century. This cake commemorated theanniversary of the Russian victory against Napoléon Bonaparte in 1812.

Four layers of perfectly flaky and crisp puff pastry separated by deliciously tender, sweet and creamy custard. Unlike a classic French Mille-feuille, the Napoleon cake is constructed with divine vanilla-bean custard rather than the conventional whipped heavy cream. Our buttery puff pastry is hand made and never store-bought. No baking soda, baking powder or raising agents. We've topped this darling cake with diced almonds and fine powderedsugar for a wholesome level of sweetness and crunch! You can choose to order this cake without or with fruit toppings (+surcharge). Have faith, the calories are worth it.

This cake can be ordered as ahalf pan cake (4 slices) or a full pan cake (8 slices).
