It all started in 1966, when Jolly Good Soda was first introduced to Wisconsin. Set apart from other beverages at the time, Jolly Good presented striking flavors and first-class ingredients to the market. The word spread quickly amongst the fellow Wisconsinites.

Today, the company makes Jolly Good at their facility in the small community of Random Lake, about 20 miles outside of Sheboygan. They produce eight regular flavors and seven diet – including Cherry, Cream, and the beloved “Sour Pow'r.”

Jolly Good soda was one of many brands of soda produced in Wisconsin during the twentieth century, but, unlike some other soda brands that began during prohibition, Jolly Good soda has its roots in the canned vegetables industry. J.B. Krier, born in Belgium, Wisconsin, created The Krier Preserving Company in 1913.

Founded in 1913 by J.B. Krier, a first generation Luxembourg- American, Krier Foods, Inc. began as the Krier Preserving Company, changing their name to Krier Foods, Inc. in 1982. Jolly Good was added to their soda production in 1966 and remained popular until the 1990s.
