Gyoza or Mandu? These precious little bundles of dumpling goodness originally came from China many centuries ago but have been appropriated into Japanese and Korean cuisine and called gyoza and mandu. Although the ingredients inside the dumplings can vary based on restaurant or region, the standard filling is a combination of minced pork, cabbage, chives, garlic and ginger. In fact, its Chinese original got a lot more garlic in it! P>

Gyoza The gyoza are normally dipped in a vinegar-soy sauce before being eaten, which helps offset all that garlic inside it. 2. Put in the microwave and cook for about 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes and enjoy delicious dumpling.

Steam cooking:
1. Boil water in a steam cooker or in a pot with steamer integrated.
2. Place the dumpling in the steam cooker without defrost.
